How it works:
 
Purchase shares from the garden now and pick up your items from your chosen location for 20 weeks from mid-June through October.  Space is limited and we expect demand to be high, so don't dawdle!
 
Shares typically begin mid-June!  The exact start date will depend on the weather and growing conditions, but don't fret!  We will let you know well in advance when precisely the CSA pick-ups will begin, as well as details about what to expect when you arrive.
 
Pick-up locations:
 
  • The Green Door - 37 Market Lane, Kitchener
    Wednesdays - 4:00pm to 6:00pm
     
  • The Working Centre Market Garden- 1254 Union St., Kitchener
    Thursdays - 3:00pm to 6:00pm
     
  • Delivery by Eco Courier
    Fridays -  Between 12:00pm and 2:00pm 
    +$169.50 ($7.50/week+tax) 
 
 
 
A note on pricing:
This season we are offering share members the option to pay more for their vegetable shares if they choose.  Our prices are excellent value for local, sustainably grown produce and supporting our work in any way helps keep our food accessible to a wide array of community members!  If you choose, you can pay a little more as an additional contribution to our work.  If price is a barrier to joining the CSA, please be in touch!

    Community Enterprise at The Working Centre

    The Working Centre's Community Enterprise Projects combine work experience, skill building, and opportunities to positively contribute to the community. 

    The The Working Centre Market Garden and Grow Greenhouse are located in the City of Kitchener, only a short bike ride away from both downtown cores. They are volunteer-driven, community-based projects that demonstrate, promote, and share knowledge about sustainable urban food production. 

    Maurita's Kitchen and the Queen Street Commons Cafe, located at the Working Centre's hub in downtown Kitchener, are both lively community spaces, where volunteers and staff work together to prepare and serve delicious, affordable, and healthy vegetarian food.
