Each week 40 New Canadians gather at the Queen Street Commons Café to practice English skills. We offer this project in cooperation with the Mennonite Coalition for Refugee Support. Simple conversation skills help to build confidence and ease in speaking English and helps people to meet on common ground.
A donation of $25 helps us provide refreshments so participants can be fed while practising their English.
